Hi Katharine and Pete,

It did feel a bit like the end of an era, although I am worried it might not be the end of an era if I have to do it again (I hope I don’t!).

Pete, I have heard that my application has been received, but no word on whether or not I passed. Mind you, the board meeting was only on Wednesday, so I guess I won’t hear anything for a while, still.

I’m not going to Umbrella, unfortunately. Hope you enjoy it!

I’m sure your evidence will be fine really, it’s always the case that just when you are getting to the stage of almost finishing something you suddenly have a crisis and convince yourself it’s rubbish! (I’m having the same today with a paper I am hoping to finish tonight).

Thankfully we have been told their will be no redundancies at our place – I hope they’re right! However, it’s still disruptive and annoying.

Hope you get through your restructuring OK. It does seem like a lot of places are going through it at the moment.

Wow, another place restructuring. We are also going through the process and have yet to hear any news on what the new structure will be – I’m hoping I will still have a job of some kind at the end of it.
